Baumgartner's Furniture Contest and Giveaway

Rules & Regulations

  1. Persons are eligible to win through the Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook Giveaway through the Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook page.
  2. An entry consists of a person "liking" the Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook business page and leaving a "comment" under the photograph of prize shown on Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook page.
  3. Entries will be accepted from times posted on the current Facebook promotion or giveaway.
  4. Persons may enter (comment on the photo) each day throughout the duration of the contest, but only one entry per day will be accepted.
  5. Entries must be received (comments left on the photograph on the Facebook page) by the deadline date and time to be eligible for the drawing. Baumgartner's Furniture is not responsible for entries received after the deadline.
  6. All valid entries received by the eligible date and time will be eligible for a chance to win the prize shown on the current Facebook promotion. Winner is responsible for picking up the prize from either of the two Baumgartner's Furniture locations in Auxvasse, MO, or Columbia, MO. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. There is no cash value option available for the prize won in this contest.
  7. Comments left under a photograph of the recliner from persons that have not "liked" the Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook page will be deemed invalid. Comments left on the Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook page, in general, instead of under the designated photograph of the prize will be deemed invalid.
  8. If more than one person's name is associated with the Facebook account drawn as a winner, the first name listed will be deemed the owner of the entry. If an entry with the same Facebook account information (to include the same two names listed in the same order) is entered more than once on the same day, it will be declared a duplicate and therefore, both entries will be invalid.
  9. The prize winner will be notified via a private Facebook message and e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the winner's Facebook account after all verification has taken place and may be required to provide his/her Social Security number to Baumgartner's Furniture.
  10. Baumgartner's Furniture has the right to release prize winner information to various media sources and list winners' names and pictures on the company's Facebook page and website, www.baumgartners.com.
  11. Baumgartner's Furniture, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Additional restrictions and conditions, if any, specific to a particular prize will be disclosed to the winner upon prize notification. There is no cash value option available for the prize won in this contest.
  12. The prize pictured on the Baumgartner's Furniture Facebook page and any other promotional material is for illustrative purposes only.
  13. All entries remaining after the current promotion will be void and ineligible for entry into any other contest conducted by Baumgartner's Furniture.
  14. Only persons 18 years of age or older are eligible to enter. Winners may be required to furnish proof of age and/or identity to distinguish the person who entered the contest and was drawn is the same person who is claiming the prize.
  15. Employees, vendors, partners and immediate family members who reside in the same household as any employee, vendor or partner of Baumgartner's Furniture are prohibited from entering and winning in this contest.
  16. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received for the drawing.
  17. Any additional local, state, federal or other taxes, expenses or surcharges associated with the prizes not mentioned in these rules are the responsibility of the winner.
  18. Baumgartner's Furniture is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner or other contest information by sponsors or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Baumgartner's Furniture is not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in this contest or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete.   20. In the event of a dispute arising out of these rules and procedures, a person's sole remedy is limited to entry into another contest drawing or event with prizes of a similar value.
  21. Each person entering this contest agrees by the act of participation to be bound by these rules and procedures of Baumgartner's Furniture and any administrative rules and procedures of the state of Missouri.
  22. These rules may be modified at any time at the sole discretion of Baumgartner's Furniture.
